Evaluation

Physiotherapy evaluation is an important step before starting any therapeutic intervention. The consideration of the collected data will lead to the correct decision-making and, by extension, the formation of an appropriate rehabilitation program that will be individually designed, based on the needs of each patient.

Specifically, the process outlined below is followed:

  • Taking personal history
  • Questionnaire
  • Clinical assessment, which includes:
  • Clinical tests
  • Observations on any atrophy, deformities, deformations, etc.
  • Assessment on simple movements and any incorrect movement patterns
  • Clinical reasoning

Therapeutic massage

Therapeutic massage is a set of specialized scientific manipulations based on anatomy, physiology and pathology.
Its main goal is to increase blood circulation and relax the muscular system.

Therapeutic massage is divided into:

  • Muscle relaxant

  • Lymphatic

  • Athletic

    The benefits of therapeutic massage:

    • Increases flexibility through muscle relaxation

    • Reduces the feeling of muscle fatigue

    • Improves muscle tone and balance

    • It increases capillary circulation, thus increasing the degree of tissue oxygenation

    • Reduces muscle tension

    • Reduces inflammation

    • Improves the mobility of stiff joints

      Manual Therapy

Manual Therapy or Chiropractic Therapy is used to treat neuromusculoskeletal diseases. These are special mobilization techniques that contribute to the treatment of joint dysfunction and the improvement of the connective tissue of both the spine and the limbs. The main characteristic of these techniques is that they are carried out by the hands of a physiotherapist specialized in this technique.

      Applications in spinal cord problems:

      • Cervical syndrome

      • Sciatica

      • Low back pain

      • Peripheral joint problems (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle)

        Benefits of chiropractic treatment:

        • Immediate pain relief

        • Reduction of stiffness

        • Improving the range of motion of joints

        • Reduction of muscle spasms

        • Functionality improvement

          Plantogram

Plantogram is is a method of digital recording of the pressure of the sole during support in a standing position (static measurement) and during walking (dynamic measurement). Digital recording is used to analyze gait, which is affected by various conditions.

          The benefits of plantogram:

          • Illustration of anatomical morphology of the foot

          • Analysis of pressure distribution during standing and walking

          • Accuracy and efficiency in any weaknesses or imbalances of the body

          • Prevention of future musculoskeletal problems

          • Examination for all ages

            Dry needling

Dry needling is the technique of inserting an acupuncture needle into the muscle to release potential myoperitoneal trigger points.

            The benefits of dry needling:

            • It leads to relaxation of deeper tissue structures, thus causing significant improvement in movement and pain relief.

            • It does not involve the injection of any medicinal preparation

            • We use classic acupuncture needles that are thinner and better tolerated by the patient

              IASTM – Ergon Technique

It is an innovative therapeutic approach that combines static, dynamic manipulations of the body's soft tissues. It requires special clinical equipment and aims to treat neuromusculoskeletal and sports injuries.

              Ergon techniques achieve:

              • Increase elasticity and flexibility of stiff joints with minimal treatment sessions

              • The enhancement of tissue healing

              • Reduction of muscle spasm and adhesions

              • Pain reduction

                Taping

The application of tapes plays a very important role in physical therapy and is an important resource for solving many musculoskeletal problems.

                Taping techniques:

                • Sport

                • McConnell

                • Kinesio Tape

These techniques individually or in combination can offer solutions to various traumatic and pathological conditions of the musculoskeletal system.

                  The purpose of taping:

                  • Joint stabilization

                  • The facilitation of muscle groups

                  • The best proprioception

                  • Pain reduction during movement

                  • The reduction of swelling
